What is Evil?

“I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” - Luke 10:19

What does it mean to tread? How, exactly, do you “tread on the enemy”? Can the enemy be defeated? In this blog post, we explore the answers to these questions with the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

What it means to tread:

If you want to know what it means to tread, you have to first identify your target and figure out what, exactly, it is that you’re actually treading on. In spiritual warfare, you are to attack and dismantle those who have already treaded on you. Is your target visible or invisible? Is the target going to show up at your house? Are you going to have to use a physical weapon to keep this target from treading on you, or do you need spiritual weapons? Do you see the attack coming? Can you use spiritual weapons to prevent being forced into a situation where you have to use physical weapons? Whatever weapon or weapons you choose to utilize, make sure you only attack an individual evil target. Never attack an innocent target because there is karma to pay for that. Once you have identified an accurate target, the Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you in knowing what it means to tread.

How, exactly, do you tread on the enemy?

Once you’ve identified an accurate target, and the Holy Spirit has confirmed that your target is accurate, the Holy Spirit will guide you in knowing how to tread. If it’s a home invasion, grab your gun (always pray over your weapons and sanctify them and dedicate them to the Holy Spirit). If it’s a person with evil intentions attacking you with evil energy, grab your spiritual weapons. The spiritual weapons you choose to use to defend yourself might include: The Bible, salt (you are the salt of the earth Matthew 5:13), crystals (revelation 21:19-20), blessed objects (such as the handkerchiefs Paul handed out in the book of Acts), blessed amulets, blessed tarot cards, blessed oracle cards, and any other holy object you use for protection. Once you have chosen your weapons, the Holy Spirit will guide you into how to tread on the enemy.

Can the enemy be defeated?

Yes. The enemy can be defeated. Plain and simple.
