Do Cats Provide Spiritual Protection?

Cats have long been associated with spiritual beliefs and protective qualities in various cultures. Many people believe that cats offer a form of spiritual protection, acting as guardians against negative energy and evil spirits. Their intuitive nature and keen senses often lead them to be in tune with their environment, and that is one reason why some believe that they possess mystical powers. The saying, “cats have nine lives” further adds to their mythical status because it implies resilience and the ability to escape danger. I feel it also implies that cats have supernatural abilities. Cats are more than just pets: they are cherished companions with a profound spiritual significance.

My personal experiences with cats being spiritual protector:

My cat, whose name is Amethyst, is a spiritual protector. Amethyst was a stray wandering the neighborhood, and she didn’t seem interested in talking to humans. She would run away from people. One day, Amethyst saw me outside burning an evil tarot deck called, “Crybaby Tarot”. (I purchased this deck so I could burn it because my discernment told me that this deck was being used to curse children.) While I was burning this deck outside, Amethyst approached me and sat near me. I felt like she knew I was doing something for the light, and she wanted to help me. Later, she asked me for help and I began feeding her cat food. She is now able to communicate spiritually, and she is even able to do short tarot card readings with holy tarot decks.

A story I heard about cats being spiritual protectors:

I am from Montana. Wildlife encounters are common in Montana. I heard a story about a burglar attempting to break into someone’s house, and they got mauled by a mountain lion instead. Don’t run from mountain lions. They will confuse you for prey.
